Our Policies
Sustainability Policy
Responsible tourism demands a commitment to sustainable travel practices from all stakeholders involved in promoting, selling, and executing travel products...
Health and Safety Policy
We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace, minimizing the risk of injury, and ensuring that all employees can carry out their duties without harm to themselves or their colleagues.
Sustainable Transportation Policy
Moments Beyond Borders recognizes that transportation is a critical part of the travel experience in Uganda. The vehicles, routes, and methods we choose impact not only our clients’ safety and comfort but also the environment, local communities, and Uganda’s wildlife.
Responsible Souvenir Guide
In line with this commitment, we encourage our guests to make informed, ethical, and legally compliant choices when purchasing souvenirs. While shopping for crafts and gifts is an enjoyable part of travel, not all items available in markets or roadside stalls are legal, ethical, or sustainable
Child Protection Policy
Traveller Awareness Statement
At Moments Beyond Borders, we uphold a zero-tolerance policy toward child exploitation, abuse, and sexual harassment.
We remind all our travellers that:
· Any form of sexual exploitation or harassment of children is a serious crime under Ugandan law and will be reported immediately to the authorities.
· This includes inappropriate comments, advances, physical contact, or any behaviour of a sexual nature toward children.
·We do not allow travellers to engage in exploitative activities such as child sex tourism, child labour, “voluntourism” involving children, or offering gifts or money in exchange for inappropriate interactions.
Complaints Procedure
At Moments Beyond Borders, your feedback matters. Complaints help us improve our services and ensure a safe and enjoyable travel experience.
