Travelife Membership: Our First Major Step

We are proud to announce that Moments Beyond Borders is now an official member of Travelife, the internationally recognized sustainability certification program for tour operators. This marks a critical milestone as we align our operations with global best practices in responsible tourism.

Becoming a Travelife member affirms our intent to:

• Promote ethical business practices

• Conserve biodiversity and natural heritage

• Support local communities and cultures

• Reduce negative environmental and social impacts

Appointed a Sustainability Coordinator

To champion our sustainability goals from within, we have appointed a dedicated Sustainability Coordinator. This role ensures that our vision for responsible tourism is actively implemented, monitored, and improved across all levels of operation—from our itineraries to partnerships and in-office practices.

🎓 Completed Foundational Sustainability Training

To deepen our knowledge and build capacity, our Sustainability coordinator has successfully completed basic training in Sustainable Tourism Management for Tour Operators, earning a certificate of completion. This training covered:

• Core principles of sustainability in tourism

• Responsible supply chain management

• Social and environmental risk assessment

• Best practices for local community engagement

What’s Next?

We’re now developing a comprehensive sustainability action plan with clear objectives, measurable targets, and timelines to integrate sustainable practices across our tours, transportation, accommodation partners, and internal operations.
